Citroen listened to what customers wanted - and now offers petrol and diesel versions of its distinctive C4 X - alongside the fully electric e-C4 X model.
The ‘X’ differs from the regular Citroen C4 or e-C4 in that it’s a sleek, svelte, ‘Fastback’ style saloon, as opposed to a regular hatchback.
A mild-hybrid powertrain was also added to the C4 X line-up in 2024, which offers a range of up to 1km using electricity alone - perfect for low-speed urban cruising - as well as reduced CO2 emissions.

The great thing about leasing a Citroen C4 X is that even the most affordable models come equipped with 18 inch alloys, ‘Advanced Comfort’ seats for long-distance happiness, rear parking sensors, and a 10-inch touchscreen.
The most exclusive variants add creature comforts like a reversing camera, heated steering wheel, and a head-up display.
As Citroen points out, overall the C4 X is ‘unique and elegant’ compared with other vehicles on the market, and it’s a great leasing alternative to cars like the Renault Arkana and the Mazda 3 Saloon.
You can also lease the fully-electric Citroen e-C4 X, which has a range of up to 260 miles between charges.
The C4 X slots into the Citroen range between the larger C5 X and the more compact C4 hatchback.
